Gothic Studio Session | Scranton Boudoir Photographer

Celeste scheduled her gothic studio session as a wedding gift for her husband this fall. With moody dark green walls, black lace curtains, and romantic candlelight setting the tone, the gothic studio feels like a scene from a dreamy, dramatic movie. It’s one of six studios we have that each have their own distinct vibe.

Like a lot of our clients, Celeste showed up nervous, but excited. After the first few minutes, she settled in and felt a lot more confident in her skin. She got to peek at a few of the pictures as we were shooting and saw how absolutely stunning she looked. One of the things she told us about her session was that the compliments during the session totally boosted her confidence. As a woman-run boudoir photography business, all of our clients have a built in hype team during their session!

She chose three different looks for her session, starting with her own two-piece floral set paired with a leather jacket. The leather really fit the vibe of the gothic studio and the floral set was romantic and feminine. Next, she changed into a dark red bodysuit from our client wardrobe that looked stunning with the dramatic decor. Finally, she chose a black, strappy two-piece set from our client wardrobe. Her outfits fit the space perfectly and accentuated all of her beautiful curves.

Celeste came into her session planning to surprise her new husband with an intimate photography gift. BUT! She left with so much more than that. As a Scranton boudoir photographer, I love to hear stories of my client’s self love journey. Celeste left her gothic studio session feeling more confidence and embracing every one of her beautiful curves.

If you are ready to embrace your own curves and feel empowered, I would love to help you see yourself in a new way through an intimate portrait session. Reach out, and let’s start planning your session. I promise you won’t regret it!
