Are you feeling nervous about a boudoir shoot? First of all, let me reassure you, that is totally normal! Everyone is! It’s part of the process.

Can I introduce you to my amazing, beautiful, talented client?

She was very hesitant to book her session at our studio. She saw Chelsea Brinton Photography online, and curiosity got the better of her, and she looked at our website. She was really worried she wouldn’t like any of the images of herself. Who hasn’t had the thought: “sure, they look good, but I wouldn’t!” (I promise you: it’s so normal to feel nervous about boudoir!)

I am so proud of her for taking the leap and booking a session anyway, because the transformation was amazing.

We started the process with some questionnaires and prep guides. She said it helped her feel prepared and excited walking in the door.

For shoot day, we invited her into the studio and started her glam process! There is something about sitting in the makeup chair and letting yourself be pampered, that allows you to open up to the experience and be present in your photos. Not to mention, you look badass at the end of glam! Professional hair and makeup artists know what they’re doing!!

When we started shooting, I guided her through all the poses and helped her feel comfortable in her movements. We ended up doing several outfits (yay!) and different poses. She KILLED IT!

From her sensual lingerie sets to the chain lingerie set she wore at the end -she looked every bit the goddess!

When I asked her at the end… how was she feeling? Did she still feel nervous about boudoir? Here was her answer: I realized I am beautiful and sexy and have more confidence than I thought I would ever have.

And isn’t that the goal!? I’m so happy!!

And get this - she returned later for a couples photo shoot!! We kept those images private, but I was proud of her for showing up for herself not once, but twice!
