I just had my session today. I was excited and nervous all at the same time!! All the girls were terrific and made me feel at ease. As a girl with natural curly hair (and being a hairstylist myself), I can say, I NEVER like when someone else does my hair. But guess what? I LOVED my hair and makeup!

It was such a great experience, and Chelsea let me peek at a few pictures, and I can’t believe how beautiful they were!!!

So glad I decided to book an appointment for my 50 is Fabulous decade!

When a hairstylist loves her hair, I know we are doing something right!! I’m so proud of our team and the experience we deliver here in the studio. Sometimes I think intimate portraiture gets pigeonholed into one season of life, while really it’s so powerful in every decade. We have had women in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s in front of the camera, and it’s always an empowering experience!

Cathy opted for a sultry black lace set for her 50 & Fabulous session.

The fishnet and leather details added the perfect moxie-vibe to the photos. Not to mention the choker and garter! (Here’s a similar set if you want to copy the look!) And I loved the silk red robe we chose to pair with it for some of the images.

Of course we had to snap a polaroid afterwards, to document the special day! And Cathy shared a glam selfie she took during the day too. I love seeing women really embody the boudoir experience fully!

And I love being a Scranton boudoir photographer and helping women of ALL ages feel confident and badass in their lives again!
