Couples Halloween Session | Scranton Boudoir Photographer

Sometimes, as a Scranton boudoir photographer, I like to step out of my normal, and schedule creative shoots! This Couples Halloween Session is a perfect example. It kicked of my interest in spooky sessions this year! We’ve gotten to do some really fun ghost mask shoots, and I’m here for it!

We decided these two would dress up in all leather & black to complete the look. From the fishnet tights, to the prop dagger - it was a VIBE.

We met up at sunset at the local graveyard next to the studio, and spent the evening being creatively inspired by the season. They were so open to all my posing ideas, from the sensual boudoir vibes… to the more spooky elements. I loved the general “scariness” of it, even if it was playful and fun too!

I also got to explore with my editing in post production and bring out the moody looks. I pushed the orange colors so the Fall elements were pronounced, while keeping those scary, deep blacks & shadows. I also added a classic scary “vignette” around the edges of the photos to draw you into the subject. As a photographer, shoots like these push me to think outside of the box and keep me on my toes. I’m always trying to learn and grow.

What do you think? Would you put on a scream mask and head out to a cemetery? How are you feeling about a couples halloween session?

I have gotten to do the most fun sessions this season… from group boudoir sessions at the graveyard to gothic studio sessions to bedazzled scream masks. YES PLEASE. I’m living for these vibes!
