Valentine’s Day | Scranton Boudoir Photographer
Can I just say how much I love Valentine’s Day as a boudoir photographer? I get to help women celebrate their power and sensuality for this holiday. Whether it’s a gift to a partner or a gift for yourself, when you show up in the studio and decide to show up for these images… magic happens!
This client wanted an all-black lace lingerie vibe for her sultry photos. We wanted to incorporate as many of the traditional Valentine’s Day looks as possible. So we went with the silk sheet set on the bed, red roses, and champagne, of course! She chose The Romantic Studio, and I loved the whole look for this special holiday shoot. I designed the look with lavish gold and black decor. And the glow of candles really creates a romantic look for the photos.
My client picked a bodysuit with long lace sleeves. It was a thong style, so we got all those booty shots!! I loved her tattoos, and she wanted to make sure to show them off. We also used red roses across the bed to highlight the romantic element. Her make was dark and moody to match the vibe of the studio, and her long auburn hair was in big, loose curls (my favorite for these boudoir sessions!)
We started the shoot on the silk sheets with the red roses, and then moved to shoot with the big, ornate mirrors we have in the Romantic Studio suite. I asked if she would trust my creative vision, and she was all in! So we went to the bathtub, and I had her pour the champagne over herself. It was PERFECT for her Valentine’s Day shoot. I was so glad she was open to my artistic vision.
We wrapped up our session back on the bed for a few sultry shots with the red roses. I am so glad she will have these photos forever and took the leap to book for herself. Make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom to see the full set!
